INTERIOR DESIGN – RENOVATIONS – STAGING

INTERIOR DESIGN  –  Rod Cope Services now offers professional interior design services for our clients  to create distinctive and stylish interiors.  Director of INTERIOR DESIGN/RENOVATIONS/STAGING, Karen Sherman is well-qualified to assist our clients with all aspects of the design/build process … from simple paint and fabric choices to turnkey construction projects.  For many homeowners, just the thought of a renovation project can be a scary and overwhelming prospect. There are many fears and anxieties about how stressful, time-consuming and expensive the project will be.  We are acutely aware of these concerns and take pride in eliminating all of this stress for homeowners. In fact, after completing a home remodeling project, we love hearing relieved clients rave about how smooth and stress-free the experience was.

Of course, you also want someone who will take the time to listen to your ideas and understand your vision. Karen is one of those people who has the uncanny ability to take your vision, survey the aspects of your project be it kitchen, bath or other renovations and create a visual palette of what the finished product will look like.  Karen is there to embrace your creativity, not discourage it.

INTERIOR RENOVATIONS  –  When it comes to the actual installation of your renovation our crew is not the least bit intimidated by unusual or ambitious ideas.  In fact, we love the challenge of creating something completely original—and amazing!  The key to a headache-free home remodeling project is choosing the contractor very carefully. You want someone with a proven track record of doing quality work—who can show you the results to prove it.  If you can dream it, we can build it.  Rest assured that we are bonded, licensed and insured.

Rod Cope Services is the go-to resource for accessible lifestyle design and will delight even the most discerning aficionado.

INTERIOR STAGING  –  Bathrooms sell houses, but dated tile in a bathroom doesn’t. A low-cost alternative to replacing the tile is to use paint. First coat the tiles with a high-adhesion primer. Next, brush on a special ceramic epoxy covering. For a fraction of the cost of new tile, you will have an up-to-date bathroom that will sell.

Pedestal sinks are a big hit with buyers. They show off square footage in small bathrooms beautifully. First, your old vanity has to go. Next, just hook up your new sink, and your bathroom will have dramatic appeal that makes it stand out. Plus, buyers will see how much floor space your bathroom has.  Your master bedroom should appeal to buyers of both sexes. Get rid of features that seem too gender-specific. Paint the walls a neutral color, and choose bedding that matches. Then accessorize with items that complement the overall color scheme.  Do you have an overpowering brick fireplace that sticks out like a sore thumb. Here’s an easy way to tone it down with paint. Use a rag or brush to rub a light coat of paint on the bricks, one at a time. This will give them a new tone without covering them completely. And, if you use a paint color that matches the walls, your fireplace will go from sticking out to standing out.

These are but a few of the tricks of the trade that Karen uses to help you sell.  More and more people rely on proper staging to get there home sold at the right price.  Call Karen.  She can help.
